Cadex Defence CDX-MC Kraken Series Description:

The CDX-MC KRAKEN®, is a multi-caliber rifle using an innovative (patent pending) barrel change system. This multi-caliber system features the lowest shift of point of impact (0.1 mil) between takedown and reassembly of the same barrel on the market. Cadex CDX-MC uses a traditional barrel to action threading system while incorporating a special tool designed to unscrew and torque its barrel from the breech side. A single screw secures the chassis detachable base for a fast conversion between short and long action calibers. Maintaining the same P.O.I. is critical at extreme range and the Kraken® surpasses any other multi-caliber system on the market. Add your P.O.I. off sets between each barrels in your ballistics software and you’ll never have to reconfirm a zero again!

Features:

• Quick caliber change (2 to 3 minutes) with virtually no shift of point of impact (less than 0.1 mil) on the same barrel. Best multi-caliber system with the lowest shift of P.O.I.
• 416 stainless steel, heavy duty 1.550” custom grade bolt action repeater with integral recoil lug.
• 3 lug bolt with 60° short bolt throw. Standard round bolt knob or optional oversized cross hatch bolt knob.
• ¼ turn tool-free bolt disassembly for an easy access to the firing pin.
• Interchangeable 20, 30 or 45 MOA full length top rail.
• DX2 EVO single/two stage selectable trigger.
• Bartlein 1.300” straight taper fluted match grade barrel with 5R single point cut rifling technology. Unique barrel tenon design with machined grooves to work in conjunction with the Kraken tooling kit.
• Threaded muzzle for muzzle brake installation. Optional ¾-20 threads with suppressor band for use with a Cadex slip-on suppressor. Easy and unique do-it-yourself rebarreling system.
• Multiple caliber group bolts (Type B, C or D).
• Proprietary Kraken chassis system with folding stock. Cerakote non-reflective coating.
• Mirage mitigation technology fore-end tube.
• Easy access to the conversion kit and trigger group by taking down one single captive screw.
• AICS magazine compatible (short and long action).
