With its hard-working satin finish, it's built tough for life in the truck, on the farm, and in the woods.

The chrome plating won't flake, chip or peel, and actually resists corrosion better than some stainless steels. It increases surface hardness and reduces friction on moving parts to make Henry's already smooth action even smoother. Even the screws are stainless steel.

The stained hardwood stock has a engineered coating to withstand wear, tear, scratches, moisture and temperature changes - exactly what you need for a hard-working outdoor rifle.

The .45-70 model we carry has an 18.4" barrel, pistol grip stock, 4-shot capacity, and adjustable sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scopes. It comes with swivel studs and a rubber recoil pad installed. The side loading gate allows easy topping off while still allowing the magazine tube to be removed for safe unloading.
